Finding the right franchise is all about FIT – making certain that you are the right fit for the Franchisor, and they are the right fit for you!

When you invest in a franchise model, you are purchasing the right to use that Franchisor’s system. Having a proven system and following that system, should reduce your risk and increase your chance of success.

Likewise, by following a proven system when investigating franchise opportunities, you will be a more informed and educated business owner.

My 4-Step Process

Step 1:
The Initial Consultation

The Initial Consultation is about understanding your suitability and goals for business ownership. We’ll discuss your vision for daily operations, exit strategies, and whether you’re seeking a passion-driven business or one for lifestyle and income.

You’ll fill out a Confidential Profile detailing your business history, strengths/weaknesses, preferences, and financial overview.

The Consultation, lasting 60-90 minutes, deepens our understanding from your profile to align you with the right business opportunities.

Post-consultation, we’ll connect with suitable franchise companies in your region, ensuring they’re expanding and match your demographic requirements.

We partner with top-tier franchises, are familiar with their founders, success rates, and systems. Our aim is to identify the best fit for you.

Step 2:
Brand Presentations

During step two, we will discuss a handful of franchise companies that have been identified as a good fit based upon your business and personal goals. We will provide you with an overview of the brand, what a day in the life of an owner looks like, and what characteristics the Franchisor is looking for in a potential Franchisee.

If one or more of these companies are of interest to you, we will formally introduce you to the Franchisor. The Franchisor Representative will then set-up a time to speak with you and begin educating you to their opportunity.

Step 3:
The Investigation Process

The Investigation Process is a mutual evaluation – you are evaluating the Franchisor, and they are evaluating you.

Through a series of conversations, they will educate you to the various components of their business model (real estate, marketing, labor, operations, training, etc), they will review their Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) with you, and they will arrange for you to speak with their franchisees so that you can learn first hand what it is like to be an owner (validation calls).

Step 4:
The Final Steps

Once both you and the Franchisor agree that this could potentially be a good fit, they will invite you to a Discovery Day.

Discovery Day is your opportunity to meet the Senior Executive Team and learn their vision for the business. You will also meet the Support Team – this is the team that will be assisting you through the launch of your franchise and future growth. Discovery Day is also an opportunity for the Senior Executive Team to meet you face-to-face and confirm that they believe you will be a good representative of their brand.

We work with several different financing companies to whom we can introduce you, to determine which financing option is most appropriate for your immediate and long-term needs. We can also introduce you to a Franchise Attorney – someone who specializes in franchising laws and regulations.

Throughout the entire process, we will be there to support you, assist you, educate you, and encourage you. We will have weekly calls to discuss what you have learned, talk through questions and concerns, prepare you for the next step of the franchise process, and make certain that you have the necessary tools to make an informed decision.
